I don't know anyone with Tourettes, but I did a hint of research. Interestingly I learned that Coprolalia is the condition which may present itself as one of the features of a tic disorder (Tourettes). Tourettes does not inherntly imply you have Coprolalia, and Coprolalia can present itself in patients who have a tic disorder that isn't necessarily Tourettes, which is tic disorder at full spectrum. That said, Coprolalia only presents itself in about 10% of Tourettes. And what is Coprolalia? It's the involuntary speech of taboo words and derogatory or socially inappropriate statements. What's interesting to me is how the media (TV, Movies, etc) likes to use Tourettes, and by extension Coprolalia, as a comedic device despite the lack of prevalence in real cases. I understand why they do it, tics and noises aren't funny, declaring out of nowhere you are going to fuck someones Asian, Black, or Mexican asshole is - I guess. Even more, the statements of the person do not necessary reflect their thoughts. What's odd to me is that the phrases are so specific: sex act + race + body part. So if a person says "rape your Mexican monkey nipple," they don't actually wan't to forcibly have sex with your nipple (that may or may not be Mexican or reminiscent of a monkey). So here's my question for the OP, the official jargon says the persons phrase don't NECESSARILY reflect that thoughts, opinions, or beliefs. This leaves open the possibility that the person really does want to have intercourse with a Mexican monkey nipple. So which is it OP? Do you want to have sex with a Mexican monkey nipple, or are you just playin?
